My 2 Girls

Karly...at almost 10 months old

- She can now say Da-Da ... Hi .. and Boo!

- Working on tooth #7, #8

- Has mastered Patty Cake *Patty Cake, Roll em up, and throw them in the pan!*

- Knows bits of the itsy bitsy spider

- LOVES peek a boo...favorite part is ripping the blanket off of Daddy's head and giggling wildly
But she gets in on the fun too.. when you say "Where's Karly?!" .. she covers her eyes with her hands and then peaks out... ADORABLE!

- Is becoming a copy cat! Will mimic you when you stick out tongue, growl, blow raspberries, Indian call.. (just a few!)

- Cruises around furniture like a pro- lets go a little but still isn't brave enough to take the plunge

- She loves to wave and tell people hi

- Her face lights up with huge smiles when someone enters a room. (especially if that someone is her Papoo or her sister)

- She follows Rylee around everywhere and wants to do what she is doing, touch what she is touching..etc. I think it is adorable.. Rylee finds it a bit annoying but will sometimes humor her.

Karly just has a glow about her.. she is the happiest baby ever and her smiles are contagious. Just being in her presence can make even the worst day great again! She is such an easy baby! I think my favorite part about her is...she has a way of not just smiling with her mouth.. but with her eyes. You can see her smile through her gorgeous shiny eyes before you even see the rest of her face. I'm not just saying this because I am her Mommy and I am proud. She really is a precious angel and a blessing to be around.

Rylee...2 yrs, 11 months old

- Still has a huge vocabulary. She remembers all words that she hears... the other day while eating ice cream she told me it was "delightful and delectable". No really.

- Rylee has been planning her 3rd birthday since the day after her 2nd birthday (no joke) but is getting more and more excited as it actually draws near. Everyday we talk about her Tinkerbell birthday she is to have and she reminds me that her birthday is April 21st and she will be this many (holding fingers up) which is 3!

- LOVES her "library school" which is story hour at the library. She loves all the kids and the teacher (librarian). She wants to go to real school so much!

- She is super excited about soccer starting again. Late at night when I check in on her I find her fast asleep with her soccer socks on pulled up to the knees. She gets in her drawer and puts them on before bed..sweet girl, following in Mommy's footsteps!

- She is very into playing with baby dolls. She is an expert Mommy and does all the things she knows to do. Some nights I have to tuck in 11 of her dolls with her or else she can't sleep. And speaking of babies she has been telling me a lot lately... "Tomorrow, when I wake up- you will have a BOY baby in your tummy!".......UM....UM... how about NO!? Give me some time kid! LOL

- Rylee still has a HUGE memory and imagination. Those two combined create quite the party around here. We have a never ending supply of imaginary friends hanging out around our house, with whom she has big conversations and lots of play dates with. Sometimes she acts out her own scenario.. sometimes it is a recent episode of Dora or some other cartoon - Word for Word!

Rylee has a way of making people laugh. The things that come out of her mouth make most do a double take. She has been this way since she started talking but as she gets older, it just gets better and more hilarious! I think one of my favorite things (recently) about her is how she has never met a stranger. She likes people and really does not have a shy bone in her body. She is so excited about other kids.. ones she has never even met before... she goes up to them and starts talking like she has known them for years. It is so cute to watch her go up to a kid she has never laid eyes on and say something to them like..."Hey friend! How about we go to the slide?" Really.. she calls them all "friend" instead of asking for their name. How adorable is that? I love that she is such a social butterfly and so outgoing. I am so proud that we are raising such a beautiful, smart, out-going, hilarious little girl!
